Privacy notice
What this website collects, which is very little, and what becomes of it.
The plain version
This is a static website. It has no accounts, no login, no shopping cart and no database. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising networks, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
What reaches us automatically
Like every website, ours is delivered by a web server that keeps standard access logs. Those logs contain your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, your browser's user agent string and the page that referred you. Our host uses them to keep the site running and to defend against abuse. We do not use them to identify individuals and we do not combine them with anything else.
The review form
The review submission form on our MemoHoney review runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type into it is transmitted to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored once you close the page. If you want to send us something, use email instead: [email protected]. Email you send us stays in our mailbox, is read by an editor, is never published with your address attached, and is never passed to a product seller.
Cookies and storage
We set no tracking cookies and run no analytics scripts. The one thing we do write to your browser is a single session entry recording that you dismissed the price bar at the bottom of the screen, so it does not come back on every page. It contains no identifier, it never leaves your device, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.
Links that leave this site
Our purchase links go to a product seller's own website. They carry a tracking parameter so the seller can credit a sale to us. Once you land on their site you are covered by their privacy policy and their cookies, not ours, and we have no access to what you do there or what you buy. Read their policy if that matters to you, because we cannot answer for it.
Our reference links go to government agencies, journals and research databases. We earn nothing from them and we do not tag them.
Children
This site is written for adults, it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your choices
Because we hold no personal data beyond email you chose to send us, there is very little to request. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it. Your browser settings control cookies and storage, and blocking ours will only mean the price bar comes back.
